In our globally networked and technologically focused world, human beings often lose touch with their own internal rhythms, making them feel displaced and de-synchronized. TaKeTiNa allows them to reconnect with the healing powers of rhythm and primordial motion. Social,…

The living network is not ruled…

Later when I played in an African drumming ensemble, my ears rang after every session. The energy was high, but the experience…

Natural Leadership in The TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process

Today, whenever I read a newspaper or watch the news, I’m reminded how destructive control and power can become. The world desperately needs more effective and gentler leadership. I’m always surprised that this natural type of leadership isn’t in more demand, taught in our schools, or used in our workplaces. Eleven years ago, when I…

TaKeTiNa and Breathwork

A Powerful Combination! TaKeTiNa has long been used as a catalyst for various healing modalities. Certain Psychotherapists in Europe prefer to have their clients do TaKeTiNa before a session because it allows the client to become more centered and aware, making the session more efficient and effective. The same deepening effect can be achieved by…
